Our combined company will continue to drive water resource management innovation for the benefit of our Australian and international clients.Australian Water Environments (AWE) is pleased to advise that on Monday 2 October it joined Water Technology Pty Ltd, creating a national water resource management business. AWE and Water Technology have worked together on a number of projects over more than ten years, delivering innovative water and natural resource management solutions in South Australia and further afield. The joining of the two firms is a progression that will increase our range and depth of technical capabilities.
Our two companies are similar in culture, a key prerequisite for a successful merger. By bringing our teams together, we will be able to support our clients across a wider range of geographical locations including Victoria, Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia as shown on the attached map, while at the same time expanding the suite of service offerings to our existing clients in South Australia.
Same people better business
It is business as usual in South Australia – only better. The faces you know aren’t changing. Andrew Telfer is now a Director of Water Technology and Michael Manou is Regional General Manager of the South Australian office. Geoff Fisher and Rob Burnell continue as Senior Principals and along with all other staff, continue in their current roles.
Please note that:
- The business will continue to trade as Australian Water Environments.
- All of our people and contact details will remain the same.
- We will continue to be based in our Adelaide office at 1/198 Greenhill Road, Eastwood and you will continue to work with the same people you have worked with in the past.
- The services we provide will continue to be offered but with the inclusion of new service areas and an increased depth of Hydrogeological and Natural Resource Management expertise and services.
- Our fee structure will not change.
Expanded services in South Australia
The merged company will now offer Coastal and Marine, Water Quality, Geomorphological and enhanced Flooding and Urban Water expertise which, when combined with our current service areas of Hydrogeology, Natural Resource Management, Ecology and Stormwater and Wastewater Design, will enable us to provide an increased range of expertise, experience and quality of service in South Australia.
We thank you for your ongoing support of AWE and look forward to introducing you to some of our new extended family soon.
