AWE was engaged by the Goyder Regional Council to develop an Integrated Waste Management Plan for Burra and Eudunda. The aim of the IWMP was to sustainably manage all water resources that are within, impacted or drawn upon by the townships and their planned growth areas.

The plan was developed to help preserve and enhance the function of the region's watercourses, maintain amenity and recreational values of public open space whilst protecting the health of the community, provide clear direction to different sections of Council (e.g. Planning and Engineering, operations and strategy) and provide water infrastructure that is both functional, sustainable and of minimal environmental impact.
